The elements in stages 2 and 3 (Tasks, Other Evidence, and Events) all include a notes system which can be used for a variety of purposes. Supervisors or team leaders may choose to use the notes system to leave feedback about the design of a particular assessment or event. Teachers can reflect on classroom experience with a particular element. Designers might use the notes system to remind them of future changes they wish to make. The notes system is also an opportunity for interaction between designers, teachers, and supervisors.
To use the notes system, just open up a specific Task, Other Evidence, or Event and click on the "My Notes" subheading. If notes already exist, they will be listed in this section.
To add a new note, click on the red "+Add New Note" link. When the pop-up box appears, select the type of note you are leaving, then enter the note into the text box. Click "Add Note" to continue. The pop-up closes, and the new note appears, dated, in the notes section.
Community Notes:
If you use the "Make Mine" feature on a master unit, any note you leave on your copy of the master unit will be visible to other designers who also have a copy of that master unit. These peer notes appear in a section labeled "Community Notes."
Compiled Unit Notes:
You can see a compilation of all the notes you've created for any element in the unit in the "Compiled Unit Notes" subheading, beneath the orange Unit Title divider (near the unit summary).
