Although Curriculum Framer comes pre-populated with over 40 rubric traits, users may wish to create a set of their own rubric traits that can be accessed while designing their assessments in their units.
To create a new reusable rubric trait, click the "My Pre-Made Rubrics" link on the homepage, under the heading "My Account".

The next page displays a list of rubric traits you have already created, if any, and allows you to enter a title for a new trait.
Type in the title of the rubric trait and click the add button. The new trait will appear in the list. Next, click the "View Levels" link next to the title of the new trait and you will be taken to a form where you can enter the description for each level of the rubric trait.
Up to 6 levels can be created for each trait. Enter a title and description for each of the levels you wish to add to the trait. The title might contain a number and a phrase (e.g. 6 - Advanced). If you don't need all six, leave the extra levels blank. When you have entered all desired information, click the "Update Trait" button to save your level descriptions and return to the trait list.
